RIKEN Brain Science Institute will organize a mini-school focusing on technical aspects of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). Half of the mini-school will feature a distinguished lineup of international lecturers with comprehensive coverage of technical issues related to MRI basics, BOLD-fMRI, modeling of BOLD signal and non-BOLD fMRI methods, and the remaining half of the mini-school will provide the students with opportunities to conduct real experiments for a better understanding of the raw data structures and their temporal and spatial characteristics, as well as problems related to susceptibility artifacts and physiological and other types of noise.
All lectures and hands-on experiments will be conducted in English.  The program can be downloaded here.
Please send inquiry by e-mail to Dr. Kang Cheng (kcheng@riken.jp) or Mr. Keiichi Abe(k-abe@riken.jp).
